The keywords in the General Assembly 2016 of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Estonia, held on the 3rd of March, were a record number of new members, a record number of events and activities arranged, a good surplus in the P/L, and a very strong and solid balance sheet. 

During the proceedings SCCE's Supervisory Board for 2016 was elected. The members of the board for 2016 are: Fredrik Nordin (Swedish Embassy), Janar Sutt (Business Sweden), SCCE’s Vice Chairman Per Lindberg (Stoneridge Electronics), Rein Leipalu (RELE Konsultatsioonid), Mart Nõmper (Rödl & Partner), Anders Hedman (Viggen Consulting), SCCE’s Chairman Karolina Ullman (NJORD Law Firm), Katrin Luhaäär (Sunny Business), Fredrik Thern (SEB), and Anders Torell (RIMI Eesti).

Signe Anton and Mart Nõmm were re-elected as Auditors, Kristiina Sikk was re-elected as SCCE's Ombudsman and Kaire Papp will continue to support SCCE as a part time Project Manager.

This year, Toomas Käbin, one of the pioneering founders of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Estonia, was invited to talk about the early years of what later on formally became the SCCE. His story will be published in the next issue of Focus - the magazine of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Estonia.
