This statement applies to Rödl Management Inc. and the following associated entities (Rödl Langford de Kock LP, Rödl Langford de Kock LLP, Langford de Kock LLP) (“Rödl USA”). Our main office is located at 225 Peachtree St NE, Suite 1100, Atlanta, GA 30303, United States of America.

The privacy statement explains how we use any personal information we collect about you when you use our websites and use our wider services. 

At Rödl USA we have focused on implementing practices that are designed to protect your privacy. We believe it benefits all parties if information is gathered, used and shared responsibly and in a transparent manner. 

If you are a client of Rödl USA for your personal accounting services

If you are a client of Rödl USA for your personal accounting services we may store the following personal information about you:

Names and contact information e.g. emails and telephone numbers

Tax Identification numbers

Personal tax information

Bank Account information

Copies of ID documents as needed to apply for a U.S. Tax Identification Number

You agree that we are entitled to obtain, use and process the information you provide to us to enable us to discharge the Services (as defined in our Letter of Engagement and supporting Schedules) and for other related purposes including:

Updating and enhancing client records

Analysis for management purposes

Tax returns

Legal and regulatory compliance

Our work for you may require us to pass your information to our third-party service providers, agents, subcontractors and other associated organizations for the purposes of completing tasks and providing the Services to you on our behalf.  However, when we use third party service providers, we disclose only the personal information that is necessary to deliver the Services. We require assurances from third-party service providers that they will safeguard information passed on to them in compliance with the appropriate laws and regulations.

We take your privacy seriously and will only use your personal information to provide the Services you have requested from us, detailed in your Letter of Engagement.  We will only use this information subject to your instructions, data protection law and our duty of confidentiality.

If your firm is a client of Rödl USA

If your firm is a client of Rödl USA, we may collect your personal information in the course of doing business with your firm. This also includes steps taken at your request before we enter into a contract with your firm.

We may receive personal data from you for the purposes of our money laundering checks, such as a copy of your passport.  This data will only be processed for the purposes of preventing money laundering and terrorist financing, or as otherwise permitted by law or with your express consent.

We may collect information on our website to process your enquiry.  If you agree, we may also use this information to share updates with you about our services which we believe may be of interest to you.

Visiting our websites

We do not collect and store any personal information if you are just a visitor to one of our websites; we do use cookies (see below) to facilitate website usage.

Some of our websites allow you to have a user account. These user accounts are set up by the appropriate contact person in our firm and initially require a two-factor identification method to grant you access. The personal information we store about any web user are:

Your password is encrypted end-to-end using state of the art encryption technologies. It is not possible for any Rödl USA employee to access your password.

Our website contains links to other websites. This privacy policy only applies to the Rödl USA websites; so if you use a link to visit other websites, you should read their own privacy policies.

Data Security/Integrity

When you give us information, we make our best efforts to apply reasonable and appropriate administrative, technical, and physical safeguards in order to protect your data. Your data will be stored on our servers in data centers within the United States of America. In addition, Rödl USA may disclose personally identifiable information as may be required by subpoena, search warrant, or other legal process.  

Marketing

We would like to send you information about our services which may be of interest to you.  If you have consented to receive marketing material, you may opt out at any point as set out below.

You have a right at any time to stop us from contacting you for marketing purposes. To opt out please see the appropriate instructions on our marketing material.

Controlling your personal information

Rödl USA does not collect or compile personal information for dissemination or sale to outside parties for consumer marketing purposes or host mailings on behalf of third parties.

Depending on your jurisdiction or the jurisdiction in which you reside, you may be legally entitled to request details of the personal information about you that we are in possession of. In such instances we provide you with the ability to make sure your personal information is accurate and up to date as well as request a copy of your personal information, rectification, erasure, or restriction of processing of your personal information.

Information collected from visitors will only be kept in order to provide the required service. Once the service has been completed all information will be destroyed in accordance with Rödl USA’s data retention policies.

Complaints

If you have questions, you do not feel that your concerns have been addressed in this privacy statement, or you are concerned about an alleged breach of privacy law or other data protection regulation by Rödl USA, please contact us and a member of Rödl USA’s Data Privacy team will be made available to answer your question and/or investigate your complaint and give you information about how it will be handled. If you are not satisfied with the way in which Rödl USA has resolved your complaint, you have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your country. You may also refer the matter to a court of competent jurisdiction.

Changes to our Privacy Policy

Rödl USA may change this policy statement as needed. If changes to the statement are made, please note that it may take up to 30 business days before new privacy practices are implemented.
