Data subject of the treatment

According General Data Protection Regulation “Personal Data” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (‘data subject’); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person. During the visit on the Website, collected data could be used to trace an individual identity: by one hand data are collected by our web server and, by the other, any personal data deliberately provided by the user during the visit on the Website will be transmitted to us. 

Personal Data include, in particular: 

IP addresses

An IP address is formed by four numbers separated by a dot. Each number has a value between 0 and 255 (e.g. Usually, the IP address is assigned automatically by your service provider. Otherwise static IP addresses are permanently assigned addresses. 
To let a proper navigation on our Website, our server downloads your IP address and stores it in a masked form, which means that only the first three numbers are recorded. Whether you have a static or a dynamic IP address, the above precaution prevents from tracing the user identity. 
Just in order to supervise the accuracy of the Website and the statistical analysis your masked IP address will be stored in our web server log file and it is will be recorded by Google Analytics and by Piwik web analytics software (for more information see the section “Cookie for statistic survey”).  This data could be used in case of cybercrimes, in which the user will be involved. 
Except for this case, data won’t be saved  in the server for more than seven days.

Web browser information

Furthermore, our network server collects data provided by your web browser and records them automatically in the journal files. The data include information about your operating system, the used web browser, name of the displayed information, the time and day you entered our website, the website you visited before ours (the so-called referrer), and the quantity of transmitted data. The data cannot be used to identify a specific person because the IP address is masked. 
The data are also recorded and processed in the journal files by Google Analytics and by Piwik in order to analyze errors and for statistical purposes.


Our website uses cookie. Cookie are small text files which your web browser saves on your device at the request of our website. Cookie include session cookie which are automatically deleted when you close the web browser, and persistent cookie which expire after days, months or years.
Cookie help us analyze how users use our website, especially the demand of the available information, so that we modify and steadily improve our services according to the users’ needs. The Website offers you the opportunity to subscribe to our newsletter, sign up for our seminars and contact us through the form or directly per e-mail. In these cases, it is necessary that you provide us your personal data. 
If you use contact forms on our website, our web server will automatically transmit your personal data per email to the designated recipient of the given form. If necessary, we will transmit your personal data to a relevant representative within Rödl & Partner to handle your request. Your personal data will not be forwarded in any other cases.

Other data

Those are the data provided time by time deliberately by the user either through a communication in an ad hoc section of the Website or through an e-mail, in order to submit to Rödl & Partner single requests, concerning the purposes of the treatment.
