So far compliance standards in Poland have generally applied to certain companies only (among others, from the banking sector, insurance sector and to listed companies). According to the planned regulations, broadly-understood compliance obligations will apply to all Polish companies.

The new compliance requirements are meant to establish new internal standards for observing the law and preventing irregularities.

The changes will require a risk analysis and an audit to fulfil new requirements under the GDPR, as well as the implementation of internal codes of ethics, anti-corruption policies and systemic protection of whistleblowers.

Rödl & Partner and E-nform experts will explain what this means for Polish enterprises in practice and how to prepare for the changes.
