Transfer of the accounting system from the external company’s system to Microsoft Dynamics (MD) is a 6-steps process carried out together with the client. 

The procedures developed by Rödl & Partner guarantee:

  • that all standards applied so far are kept or any changes agreed with the client are implemented smoothly,
  • uninterrupted accounting process,
  • full security of the data transferred,
  • training in MD for the persons selected by the client.

The procedure

1. A contract for lease of Microsoft Dynamics AX (MD) is concluded between the client and Rödl & Partner (RO)
2. RO, independently or together with the client’s accounting/IT department, prepares the technical environment required to work with MD
3. RO, in consultation with the client, prepares an accounting model in MD to account for the continuity (or amendment) of the company’s assumptions as regards the accounting policy, arrangements with suppliers/customers, charts of accounts, reporting and other expectations of the management board
4. RO, in consultation with the company keeping the accounting books so far, determines the scope of data to be transferred to MD, followed by consultations/corrections of the assumptions with the client
5. RO, in cooperation with the company keeping the accounting books so far and the client’s accounting department, transfers the agreed data from the former system to MD
6. RO conducts training for the accountants (in operating MD) and for members of the management (management accounting, reporting)
The accounting department starts working.
